business development manager (remote)

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
  • Making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Cold outreach to book calls with the executive team.
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential clients.
  • Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business.
  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
  • Growth Mindset: We are a fast-growing company, and need people who will take initiative and take ownership to be successful in the role.
  • Proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex relationships.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in either Business Development, Account Management, or Sales roles in the digital marketing industry with proven experience and success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
    Ability to achieve targets.

About You:

You possess strong sales skills and bring experience in both generating new business. You strive to exceed revenue targets through active selling and managing expectations for new and existing clients. Above all, you love learning, and sharing what you know. You also love working in a collaborative environment and you’re a go-getter, self-starter who doesn’t need a ton of micro-managing to get sh*t done!

Position Reports to: CEO

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual base salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 plus variable compensation for an annual OTE of $100,000 – $120,000. Note: The OTE reflected is based on 100% quota attainment. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, performance, and results.
